Table Top PC
Yes, this has been around for awhile, but I’m on a transformative technologies kick lately and still can’t wait to see one of these live and in action.
Gestural Interface
If you’ve seen Minority Report, you’ve seen this in action. The future is NOW.
Why I LOVE xobni
Oh Xobni, how I love thee. Let me count the ways:
- You’ve saved me the equivalent of 6 full work days as I no longer need to go mining and searching through Outlook for documents, contacts, emails, email threads, quotes… you name it. (15 minutes x 5 days x 48 weeks = 3,600 minutes / 60 minutes = 60 hours / 10 hour work days = 6 days)
- You’re intuitive as heck.
- You give me extremely interesting and valuable information about my contacts and email habits.
Highly recommended to anyone that uses Outlook, spends most of their time communicating through email and has a machine with a decent processor and RAM. Give it a try and see for yourself.
Me Being Geeky
The good folks at InfinIT Consulting did a Podcast the other day on “Why Managed Colocation Can Be A Strategic IT and Business Investment.” Essentially it gave me an opportunity to sound relatively smart and geeky about a topic not that many folks know that much about, which makes me feel warm and fuzzy. ;)
It’s remotely interesting if you’re into servers, datacenters, and stuff.
